Birmingham Buff Sandstone
A uniform, fine grain sandstone, mostly light brown with variable darker brown accent throughout. Quarried in Ohio. Popular for fireplaces and column caps. Available in virtually any thickness, recommend 1 1/2" minimum for long pieces, lengths typically 8 to 10 feet, honed, natural cleft, sandblasted, brushed, antiqued and tooled finishes
